MPWatch

I just noticed an “app” on my Apple watch that I do not believe I downloaded.

MPWatch

I can’t find anything about it in the App Store nor with an internet search.

When you open the app on the watch it shows a black screen with a time “0:00” stamp in red numbers at the bottom middle of the screen and a red dot 🔴 with a red ring around it as if it were a start button for recording or something.

Nothings happens when you tap the red button or anywhere on the screen.

It seems very odd.

I deleted it.

I have no idea how it got added to my watch. I have very few apps and don’t download much via my watch.

Anyone know what it is or have had it show up on their Apple Watch.

Mine is a series 7.

I figured it out. It is part of the MoviePro app on my iPhone! It automatically adds a remote start/stop/paper app onto your Apple watch. But because it’s named MPWatch and not MoviePro there is no info available online or in the App Store about what MPWatch is!
