Recovering MAC Mail folders

I just deleted a folder by accident in Mail and need to undo or recover the folder my time machine has nothing and the I can't find the library folder....there has got to be a copy in the bowels of this mac...please help

If you emptied the trash, there's nothing to recover.


Imagine if the OS retained a copy of everything that was deleted, there would be no advantage to deletion at all and sooner or later you drive would fill up with deleted files.


There are systems that hold deleted data for a period of time, Apple does that, but not Trash can items. Your only recourse is backups you made and if TM is your chosen backup method and it has nothing then that's where you are.
