iPhone X overheating then lags

Trying to figure out why my iPhone keeps overheating after about 15 or 20 minutes of being on it. I’m not sitting out in the sun is not directly in the sunlight is not in my vehicle. Temperature wise is good. After about 15 or 20 minutes of being on it it starts getting really hot and then it won’t work properly everything lags or it’ll just black out. iPhone is up-to-date so not understanding why it’s doing this!

iphone 15 pro overheating this is absolutely ridiculous i bought the phone just yesterday its already having the overheating issue no matter what app im using its still overheating. the heat on it is not normal and the phone cannot be used with this kind of overheating, i hope this issue gets fixed FOR REAL with the ios 18 since apple said its a ios 17 issue. i hope its not a design flaw because im gonna need this phone and i cant buy another 1
