I have used apple Mail on my iMac desktop for many years. while I am able to get INCOMING emails using Spectrum with Apple Mail, I suddenly cannot SEND OUT. The settings have not changed. I am able to use the webmail with Spectrum okay.

I get the incoming emails using Apple Mail on my iMac desktop (Spectrum is my provider), but just recently I have not been able SEND OUT as the Charter / Spectrum server rejects my address. None of the settings in Apple Mail have changed. (I am able to use Spectrum's webmail fine, but I would like to continue using Apple Mail on my iMac desktop.)

If you search this community, you'll note a recent posting on Spectrum problems.

You may not have changed anything, but Spectrum may have.

I suggest you remove the mail account entirely and recreate it using the latest data from Spectrum for using mail.
