How avoid duplicates when adding to Music app library?

Greetings and salutations

I've ripped a large number of music CDs to my Macbook Air using the Music app. Now I'd like to transfer them to the Mac I use as a media centre.

At the time of the rip the MBA's library contained many albums which I had previously copied over from the media centre Mac.

When adding the newly ripped music to the media centre Mac I'd prefer not having to select each ripped album individually.

Is there a way to avoid duplicates being copied if I select all album folders from the MBA's music library?

I tested with one album that is in the media centre Mac's library but it copied over even though it's identical to the one in that library.

Cheers

Philip

I don't see a way to automatically avoid or delete duplicates.
