Problem with highlighting on a PDF
I'm a student who likes to highlight stuff but the problem is it doesn't highlight specific words.

Highlighting and Selecting Text:
If all you need to do is highlight a few words, then take a screenshot. On the screenshot, your should be able to select words, though use of selecting the text. See here: Take a Screenshot on your iPhone - Apple Support
