Why do you think my hand hurts after using my iphone?

I purchased my new Iphone 4 months ago, and since then, I have been experiencing hand pain, numbness, and tingling. This pain does goes away when I stop using my phone for an extended period of time. This pain only occurs while I actively use the phone and a few minutes afterward. I have assessed all other possible causes and concluded that it is directly related to the use of my iPhone. I have used Apple products since 2015 and have never had this issue. I believe this problem is directly related to the radiation that is emitted from the newer iPhones and its network connection to 5G. Previously I was using an Iphone 11 that never connected to 5G, I am not sure if its processor has the capability to access 5G network but ultimately since I have upgraded I have been experiencing this pain. This discomfort has negatively impacted my life in many ways and I am strongly considering to stop using Apple products.

This is most likely carpal tunnel syndrome. I’m guessing you text a lot. Using just a couple of fingers. Your body responds to this repetitive stress on the nerve that passes through your wrist can cause it. This is common in people who text a lot. Nothing to do with what type of phone unless the size of the phone might be making your repetitive motions more extreme. The only way to stop it is to stop the motion. Change up ur grip. Or use talk to text.

when it gets severe in people who play piano or type for a living, there is a surgery. But better to change your behavior now. I’m guessing this has been brewing a while even w your old phone but it’s just now giving symptoms.

I have had this experience for a few years now, but from Samsung products. You can test to make sure it's due to EMFs by turning your phone on airplane mode or turn it off and see if you still experience the sensation. For me, to minimize the radiation pain, it helps a lot to turn my phone on airplane mode as much as possible. My hypothesis is that people with higher copper levels in the body experience this. The more I take zinc supplements to flush out the copper, the less my hands are affected by my phone pain.

It could be the MagSafe magnets. They are very strong. No other iPhones before the 12 series and android phones use MagSafe magnets. If you tried holding an iPhone 11 series (11, pro, pro max) or older the same way and do not experience any pain in your hands, muscles or deep in your bones, then it could be the MagSafe magnets.

Um… no.

This started happening to me after I took the case off of my very old iPhone se 2nd gen. Feels like a very low mild electric charge shock sensation that radiates up my arms and subsides as soon as I put down my phone. I know i am allergic to nickel but that’s typically a rash via jewelry. Don’t have the option to choose lte only maybe need to update ios. Tested with husbands iphone 14+ and no issues. May be an old phone issue

Im having the same issue. I have two phones android and I phone 14 and its not until I touch the iPhone that this pain starts in my hand. Its something coming from the phone that's causing this burning and pain in my hands. It also hurts when I use by my not picking it up .. It like something is radiating from the phone. It feels like something is burning from the inside of my joints soon as I touch this phone. I have tried to explain this to so many people and because not everyone is experiencing it they don't understand.

Hi Tavia (@tavia291 ): I am experiencing exactly like what you are experiencing. I never had this pain when i was using my iphone 8 it started after i upgraded to 13. As you said, the pain is in my hand and sometimes deeper towards my bone ( in both of my hands) and recently I noticed my fingers involuntarily shake ... etc. I can feel something coming from the phone. I am planning to change my phone to android even though I don't like them. But until then, I am doing my best to keep my iphone 13 away from my body. As you said, not everyone is experiencing it they don't understand.

I am experiencing sever hand pain after using the new IPhone 15.

It also heats up so much when I’m charging it that I cannot touch it, i I never had these issues with my previous iPhones or Samsung phones.

I believe this is to do with 5G, it’s not Carpel or Repetitive strain. This has started since I got the new iPhone.

the pain is getting unbearable and I wish could send the phone back and stick to my previous IPhone 13, I used that all the time with no issues.

i feel this new phone is a health hazard.

I am experiencing the same!!! I’ve been telling people at work about it. I even ordered compression gloves that can use a phone with to see if it helps. I’m gonna have to get another phone. I’m glad I’m not going crazy. Right now I feel it. But my phone is the SE. people said it’s because it’s an older phone. But I have 5G on the phone with my Wi-Fi. It’s tingling and burning my hands

I am never on my phone. I don’t use it all day long. The minute I touch it in the car just to turn on my playlist my hand is in pain. Someone said it’s because it’s charging. Even when it’s not charging I choose different fingers just to scroll through the screen. Literally put it down and switch out what fingers I use. Right now it’s doing it while I type

Me too! It’s like the phone is radiating some serious electrical charge or current and I feel like my hands ands arms are burning like fried from currents - it was even hard to research this as I’m in so much pain right now and anything I touch gives off a static cling spark . . This pain is absurd it’s so bad and it’s not carpal tunnel - I’ve had that
