Pictures on NAS. Quick look not full screen. Why?
M1 Macbook. 12.4 Monterey.
I have a folder on my NAS with pictures (jpgs, heics, etc.). I select a few of the files and hit the spacebar for quick look. I am expecting that the photos show up on the screen and I can scroll through them. That does happen; however, the pics are not full screen (even though the window is fully expanded). They are about 1/9th of the screen and are shown on the middle left edge with file info next to it (name, size, date taken). The photos are definitely large enough to fill the screen.
Interestingly, I have a 'dummies' book for Big Sur, and it talks about this process using Quick Look, and the book shows the pictures as full screen. I also asked in reddit, and others say theirs is in full screen. One person suggested that the photos have to be on my local drive, but my local photos do the same thing.
