I can’t always get AirPlay to work on my Vizio TV. I’ve gone through Vizio support also and they’ve said this is an issue with AirPlay. It’s so frustrating! Sometimes it works by miracle, then I think I have it figured out. Follow the same steps and it doesn’t work.
