What model Macbook Pro? They have been around since 2006.
Retina models (Late 2012 to present) do not have a user-serviceable battery. Many attempts by end-users to remove the glued-in Retina battery result in irreparable damage to the trackpad and/or keyboard connections, sometimes even logic board damage.
This may be a total loss. If this is a Retina model you need to have the shop that replaced it make it right or spring for a new computer. If you did it yourself, the repair costs are on your tab.
More bad news: If you or a non-Apple approved provider changed the battery, Apple may refuse to do further work on it.
