Is there any way to have the battery of the magic keyboard (A1644) replaced as it is a rechargeable device?
Hello Jacob,
Not sure if this info can help you.
The Apple Magic Keyboard (Model A1644) is a wireless keyboard that uses a built-in rechargeable battery. Unlike some other keyboards, the battery in the Magic Keyboard is not meant to be user-replaceable. This means that Apple has designed it as a sealed unit, and the battery cannot be easily replaced by the user without potentially damaging the keyboard.
If your Magic Keyboard's battery is no longer holding a charge or is experiencing issues, here are a few steps you can take:
Remember that tampering with the internal components of the Magic Keyboard could void any warranty or support coverage you have, and it might lead to further issues. Therefore, it's generally recommended to seek professional assistance from Apple or authorized service providers if you're experiencing battery-related problems with your Magic Keyboard.
Thanks
Paul

Donno. An app such as Battery Health, iStat Menus, or CoconutBattery might show that data.
But more pragmatically, cut / slice / pry / saw / unscrew it open, and source and then try to replace the battery.
Assuming appropriate care with any cutting tools is used and appropriate personal protection is used, worst that happens is a still-bricked keyboard now in more and smaller parts, and a better understanding of assemblies not designed or intended for repair.
Or run it as a wired keyboard pending replacement, if that is working.
Any way? Probably. In more practical terms, no. Those aren’t intended for repair including for battery replacement.

Look under System Preferences to see if there is a listing for Keyboards.
