Siri keeps telling me (sorry somthings gone wrong can you try again) in iOS 16.6

so today siri decided to be on strike. keeps keeps telling me (sorry somthings gone wrong can you try again)!


I did try to reset siri on the phone talking to an apple rep who juste gaveup and hung the phone up.


I am still having this problem.


She got me to turn of sir off then on again. reset my Iphone and still no go. the odd thing is that my Mac has the same problem. this looks like something wrong at the account level. But that rep said that it was not related. She did tell me that they are getting a influx of call with the same problem.

Troubleshooting SIRI Issues:

If Apple is informing that they keep getting reports of this, then it is a bug on their end, and they are in the works of fixing it.


A. Start here: If "Hey Siri" isn't Working on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support


B. Restore your iPhone from a Backup:

Have any backups of this iPhone prior to this occurrence? If so, restore your iPhone from one that has these photos (the most recent backup, ideally). If not, then take this as a learning experience, knowing to always back up your device for recovery purposes. Important: Back up you iPhone prior to performing this restoration, should anything go wrong from here on out.


C. Report this to Apple, Yourself:

Do your part: Let Apple know what is going on here. Provide them with feedback on this. They may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they received on this, the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed in updates to come.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  3. Comment: on when the issue began, and how you have troubleshot it, thus far. Include the URL of this thread.
  4. Proceed from there aw necessary
