My AirPods keep saying not your AirPods and there not connecting I have disconnected them from every device and it still doesn’t work

My AirPods keep saying not ur AirPods I clicked forget devices on all my device now it won’t reconnnect

If not, you'll want to complete all the steps provided, as those are the most effective steps in helping resolve the problem you're experiencing.


Did you ensure your device is on the latest software available for the device? The latest version of iOS and iPadOS is 16.6. The latest version of macOS is 13.5.1. If you are not on the most current software, look over the guidance here to update: (The steps you follow will depend on the device.)



It does look like you are saying you reset the AirPods, by following these steps: How to reset your AirPods and AirPods Pro - Apple Support, correct? If you followed a different path, go ahead and proceed by following the steps on that page.
