Post-Accident: can I obtain the data used to detect/alert of the wreck? Dealing with concussion - wondering the g-force and such

A little over two weeks ago iPhone 14 alerted that it could tell there'd been an accident. Sure enough, car had hydroplaned then did some 360s - on the interstate! There's a lot of memory loss and moderate concussion... but the phone might be able to fill in the blanks. Phone settings would've shared that with apple (not set to private).

Any ideas if and how this could be obtained? Could be helpful, at least validating!

I doubt that Apple keeps personally identifiable data on your individual crash. And, it's quite possible that crash detection simply fires when certain thresholds are reached and doesn't register or record data beyond those thresholds.

However, only Apple would know for certain. I suggest you contact them directly. You can use the Support link at the bottom left of every page of these forums.

Hoping someone knows how to access the data Apple used to give us the accident alert. Could be helpful to know the physics for this one particular circumstance as we navigate post-concussion medical options.

(I'm very familiar with everything on Apple's basics of crash detection page, which you posted, but it doesn't address this.)

I'm not aware of a way to find the actual data related to a crash. And this is a user to user only forum. You should contact Apple directly to see if there is any data which a user can obtain from a detected crash.

You can use the Support button at the top or bottom of this page. Or, if you are in the US, you can call Apple at: 800-My-Apple
