MS 365 Powerpoint terminally crashing suddenly every time I present slide show with media

I restarted PP and my mac and the problem got WORSE so that now PP crashes the second the slide with the media on it is displayed! HELP! Don't understand how you using a powerpoint with a media that causes it to crash is an Apple issue.
