I cannot get rid of Amazon app on my iPad

All I have to do is get on safari and order something on Amazon and it puts it on that stupid app that you can’t do anything with. You can’t touch something that you wanna buy and make it go to another window. I won’t do it so you gotta lose your place go to this or that and lose your place again, and expand in the butt. I just want to get rid of this app. It sucks to be honest with you. I’ve been playing with computers the whole time I was in the military in late early 90s. Why does it have to be so hard?
