AirPods Pro 2 can only be connected to 1 device
APP2 can only be paired to 1 device at a time
Hi all,
Title basically tells everything. I got the device yesterday as a gift, transitioning from APP to APP2.
I paired it with my i12pro (iOS 16.6) and was listening some music on Spotify. Then I changed to my iPad (os 16.6) where I started to watch some video on YouTube. Based on my previous experience I expected a seamless transition from my phone to the iPad like it was with my previous APP, unfortunately this was not the case. Then I tried to connect the AirPods to the iPad, the iPad’s Bluetooth detected the pods, but couldn’t be connected as it was still connected to my phone.
Long story short, without manually disconnecting the pods from the connected device I’m not able to connect it elsewhere.
Also, “Connect to this iPhone” option is missing from the AirPods settings.
I tried the following:
- forgetting the device
- complete reset of the AirPods
- restarting my iPhone, iPad, watch
- re-pairing my AirPods
Didn’t help.
I have the concern that the device is fake… although based on all the parameters and signs (SN, menu, no warning during pairing, etc.) it should not be.
I have an appointment with Apple tomorrow, I’m very curious…
Perhaps Any of you experienced the same? Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
Ben
