AirPods Pro (2nd gen) case not working as it used to.

I went away from home for about a week, and when I got back, I went to go use my AirPods. As expected, they were dead, when I plugged them in, it didn't chime, I thought that was normal since they were completely dead. But after about a half hour, I went to go check them on the battery widget on my phone, and it didn't show and battery (number) or charge. So I thought they hadn't charged but I was able to use them fine, just the case wasn't showing anything on my phone, and the case does't make any sound either. I went to my phone thinking that the option for the chime was off, but no, it was on, it was greyed out though (not sure what that's supposed to mean). Now the case doesn't connect to my phone (the find my (sound and find nearby)), and I can't check it's battery through my phone (the case light still works).

Hello hello-2_,

If your AirPods case won't charge, here's some steps you can start with: If your AirPods won’t charge

You can also try resetting it with these steps:

1. Put your AirPods in their charging case, and close the lid.
2. Wait 30 seconds.
3. Open the lid of your charging case, and put your AirPods in your ears.
4. Go to Settings > Bluetooth. Or go to Settings > [your AirPods].
• If your AirPods appear there as connected, tap the More Info button  next to your AirPods, tap Forget This Device, then tap again to confirm.
• If your AirPods don't appear there, continue to the next step.
5. Put your AirPods in their charging case, and keep the lid open.
6. Press and hold the setup button on the back of the case for about 15 seconds, until the status light on the front of the case flashes amber, then white.*
7. Reconnect your AirPods: With your AirPods in their charging case and the lid open, place your AirPods close to your iPhone or iPad. Follow the steps on your device's screen.
