I DOWNLOADED AN APP THEN DELETED IT, I WENT TO REINSTALL IT AND IT SAYS “GET” WHEN IT SHOULD HAVE HAD THE CLOUD WITH THE ARROW BC ITS A PREVIOUSLY DOWNLOADED APP!

I have an iPhone 11, OS 16.6

I downloaded an App from the App Store after a few months I deleted it. Then I wanted to use it again so I went to the App Store to download it and it said “GET” it didn’t have the cloud ☁️ with the arrow pointing down which is what you always see next to an app you have previously downloaded.

so my question is Why are the apps that I downloaded and then deleted not showing up as being previously downloaded???

, I’ve been an Apple use for like 15 years and this is the first time I have deleted an app, went to reinstall it and it said “get” as if I never had installed it before! Which is annoying because then I have to reenter my password and also sometimes I can’t remember the name of an app I previously downloaded, so I look at the list of my apps that are “not on this phone “ or ones that I have deleted and they all used to show up there with the cloud and the arrow pointing down and now only some of them do… just today purposely deleted Facebook and messenger to see if the same thing would happen, and right after I deleted them I went to the App Store and they both said “get” instead of having the cloud symbol which proves that, that app has been previously installed

I am using the same phone, and signed into the same iCloud.

Is my phone hacked or something…like is there another iCloud account lurking in the back?

What the **** is going on?!

How to contact a Web Publisher or the Host

Contacting a web publisher or the host of a website can be helpful for various reasons, such as reporting issues with the website, seeking permission to use content, or addressing copyright concerns. The process may vary slightly depending on the website, but here are some general steps you can follow:

  1. Check the Website: First, visit the website and look for a "Contact" or "About Us" page. Many websites provide contact information there, including email addresses or contact forms.
  2. Web Hosting Company: If you have an issue related to the website's hosting, such as reporting abuse or copyright infringement, you can try contacting the web hosting company. To find the hosting company, you can use online tools like "whoishostingthis.com" or similar services. Once you identify the hosting company, visit their website and look for contact information or support options.
  3. Be Clear and Polite: Whether you are reaching out via email, contact form, or social media, always be clear, concise, and polite in your communication. Clearly state the reason for contacting them and provide any necessary details to help them understand your request or concern.
  4. Give Time for a Response: Allow some time for the web publisher or hosting company to respond. It may take a few days, depending on their responsiveness.

Remember, always be respectful in your communication, and avoid any hostile or aggressive language, as it is unlikely to yield a positive response.

One of the Apps I downloaded was the “Apple Support” App the all blue app with the white apple in the right hand corner .., I just followed your instructions, i had to search for the app in the App Store because even though I previously downloaded this app and deleted it TWICE, it still does not show up on the list or apps “not on this phone “ when I saw the app it said “get” and there is no option for App Support.
