I have a Go5G plan from T-mobile and I want to upgrade my phone to the 14. If i purchase it from the carrier deal that gives $800 and finance options on the apple store, the new iphone will be locked or unlocked?
I frequently travel internationaly and a second SIM card is a must.

And T-Mobile is notorious for not unlocking there phones once the contract runs out. There have been numerous posts in here about T-Mobile customers asking them to unlock the phones but they never do.
Bottom line, you may save money up front but you most likely will have the phone locked to T-Mobile forever.
Also beware that if you purchase a new iPhone 14 in the US, it will not have SIM slots, it will be eSIM only.
