EtreCheck Report Kernel Panics- Apple Support never seems to properly address in past- Can anyone help?

M1 Mini 16gb 500g HD recently restarted while in sleep mode. Etre says possible hardware failure... but everything pretty darn new! Also, Magic Mouse 2 has been dragging lately and I'm wondering if it's my processor or the mouse is dying? Doesnt happen when using crappy wired mouse. (Hey, there are no dumb questions, right??)

Any help greatly appreciated!

I've never had issues with Mac sleep but things can wake it, like the periodic maintenance scripts that run automatically in the wee hours of the morning. Mine also do scheduled bootable clones via Carbon Copy Cloner daily at 4AM that requires a wake-up call.

However, all our Macs happily go back to sleep afterwards. If something is causing weird sleep behavior, my #1 suspect would the Passport drive. They are a very entry-level product.

Try this. Eject the Passport and let the computer sleep, If the problem persists, then we can at least eliminate what I feel is a strong suspect.
