Items moved from Android; where are they

I initially used the move to ios app. It indicated that it would take over 15 hours, maybe because my android wasn't plugged in at 30% charge. The next day, I plugged it in and it took almost two hours.

It said that it transferred all the apps and files that I marked. I see some of them, but most are missing or hidden.

I wondered where all my photos went, and found them in obscure places, arbitrarily put in made up folders and scattered all over the iPhone - with duplicates and triplicates. I had the same trouble with Windows to Mac - it was bizarre. I reset the Mac and transferred with a flash drive. I'm not sure if I'd have the same luck with the phone.

This page offers step-by-step instructions for what you need to do before, during and after a data migration from an android device to an iPhone. Please make sure that those steps are followed as directed.

Beyond that, if there is content that is not able to be transferred over with the process detailed above, we advise reaching out to the android phone manufacturer for instruction on manually transferring the content. That is, of course, if you wish to retry that data transfer or if you are OK with leaving it as it is.
