How come it says its going to take 6 hours to backup my iPad
Been having issues with my iPad touch screen no real solution, but they suggested I should back up my iPad to iCloud. Which is what I am doing. I don't have that much to really backup

The time required to perform the backup will be determined by many factors, including but not limited to:
The only aspect that you may be able to directly influence is your WiFi network. You should note, however, that the slowest item in the chain will ultimately be the limiting factor.

It is going to depend on if you are backing it up on your computer or iCloud. It’s also probably the first time you’ve backed it up so it has to back up everything for the first time. If you are backing it up to iCloud, then a slow or unstable WiFi connection can cause it to backup even slower as it has to wirelessly send all the information
