Why does my phone say my AirPods could not be verified

Did you review the Apple Support article you arrived here from yet?

Did you get them new directly from Apple or an Apple Authorized Reseller, or from another third-party source?

Then you should return them and get a full refund.

mines too but when I search up the seria number it says they are real so what can I do?
