Preparing my old device for trade in

I have transferred my I cloud info to my new iPhone and reset my old device. Do I remove the SIM card?

How can I transfer all my data from my iphone 12 mini to my already activated iphone 17pro? I am on Boost mobile and when working through the process of getting the e sim to activate they told me to bypass transferring my data from my old phone. Now that my new phone is activated they are being very unhelpful about how to transfer all my apps across. They said I can go to an apple store, do it manually or delete my apple account from my new phone and try reinstating it but didn't give specific details. I know there should be a much quicker way to do it than the first two options. I don't want to try deleting everything without a clear process detailing exactly what I should be doing. Thanks

1. Back up or transfer your files · 2. Sign out of iTunes · 3. Sign out of iCloud · 4. Sign out of iMessage · 5. Unpair Bluetooth devices (optional).
