Very dark image on 2021 Samsung 4k TV w/HDR enabled

Samsung QN90AA and Apple TV 4K 3rd gen. Enabling HDR on AppleTV produces a very dark image on all streaming services. As one poster stated, maybe if we keep reporting the issue a fix will come? I have tried all solutions listed in earlier posts on this topic. Replaced HDMI cable, connected directly to TV(not AVR) Reset both TV and AppleTV. HDR will work for a minute or so, and while it does, it looks great, for a minute. It sometimes will go back and forth from very dark, to a proper looking HDR screen. The consistent thing that does happen, is that a camera, or scene change in the streaming content seems to coincide with the darker image, or the back and forth, dark to normal looking image. When the image does go darker, it almost looks like you’re wearing a welding helmet while trying to watch TV… Someone has to know what is going on.

This fixed it for me. Some shows were unwatchable through the Apple TV 4K with HDR10 but I could watch them no problem with the Samsung built in Apple TV+ app. On the Apple TV, go into Accessibility/ Display and turn off 'Reduce White Point'. Now my Apple TV 4K HDR10 with Apple TV content is as bright as using the Apple TV app on the Samsung TV (2022 Frame). Not even sure why this option was turned on by default (I certainly didn't turn it on). No content/frame matching, with HDR10 enabled using 4:2:2.
