If I’ve bought a new iPhone 14 pro should I cancel $2.99 subscription for storage for when I had an old iPhone with less storage capacity?

Should I cancel the extra storage $2.99 I’ve paid for many years now that I have a new iPhone 14 Pro with way more storage? I’m just trying to save whoever I can even though it’s only $2.99 because I no longer get an income.

Be very careful. Carefully read and understand this article. You are paying for iCloud storage.

If you have a phone with more storage, chances are your backups will be larger now or at some point in the near future. Since you have more space on the new phone, you will most likely take more photos and download more apps that will use more space in your iCloud backups. If you use iCloud Photos, that takes up space in iCloud as well.

My point is that you may need that iCloud storage.
