I can't add a boarding pass to Wallet
I’m trying to add a boarding pass to my apple wallet, but do not get the option to do so. How do I add “ add to apple wallet” to my options?

I live in Italy so there may be some differences in the way we add our tickets to the wallet, but I often have to add ones that are not "supported" by the wallet himself.
Do do that I use this app:
https://apps.apple.com/it/app/pass2u-wallet-cards-coupons/id1142473931
Basically, you select your kind of ticket/card in it and when you have inserted your datas a "add to wallet" button appears.
In this way you can add multiple cards and tickets that are not yet supported.

The general method used by many airlines is as follows:
When using your mobile device on the airline’s app or website to “Print Your Boarding Passes” …
Look for an option similar to Mobile Boarding Pass. (usually alongside options to “print” and “email”)
Once selected, there is usually an option to “Save to Mobile Wallet” … and often the AppleWallet icon.
After clicking it in the website/app, you’ll see a facsimile of your mobile pass displayed; you then need to click “Add” to actually place the pass into your wallet.
FWIW, I’ve also noticed - on a recent United flight - that UAL HAS indeed changed their app’s behavior; something which I believe might be contributing to at least some of the difficulties.
Whereas previously the “add to wallet” button was immediately and prominently displayed on the iPhone app’s boarding pass screen …
… now the user must “pull-up the lower bar” on the screen to see the button.
IMO it’s not the greatest of designs, but I’m not UAL’s app designer who must juggle competing priorities.
Thank you! The add button was visible once I swiped up on that lower menu. It used to be more prominent and now it feels like the airline is hiding it so you keep using their battery-draining app.
This thread is all over the place. It does seem very specific to the app/airline. For example I don’t ever see an issue with American or Delta.
Yesterday a community member shared that deleting the app from their iPhone and redownloading resolved the issue. That would be my next step.
Make sure both your iPhone and Alaska Air app are updated to the latest version and try adding. If the issue persists, please contact Alaska Airlines customer support team.
I had same issue. I deleted Alaska app and then reloaded it and I am
apple to transfer boarding passes to apple wallet.
I just deleted the Alaska APP and reloaded and reinitialized it and the problem went away. Updating the app previously did not solve the problem.
I can confirm that after experiencing the same problem in United, deleting the app and reinstalling solved the problem!
To be clear, you can only add a boarding pass to your wallet during the relatively brief period (abt 24+ a few hrs) between “Check-In” and “Fight Departure.”
This makes for a fairly narrow troubleshooting window.
No problems! If you want to manually search the App you can go to the store and write “Pass2u” :)
Have a good day!
it IS on your iPhone … within the Airline’s App or Website.
Have you talked to United’s customer support team? Boarding passes are added by link in email from United, the United mobile app or a link on the United website.
What happens when you rotate the screen (turn your iPhone) horizontal? Does the button/link appear?
Not sure why you can’t either …
… as I routinely board UAL flights with my boarding passes in MY wallet — along w/ fellow passengers boarding with their on-device passes — also in their iPhones.
How “current” is your phone and iOS?
(UAL app requires iOS 15 or later - meaning an iPhone 6s or newer)
