Image persistence and low quality?

Hi all, ever since I accidentally left my Iphone SE (2020) on discord for 37 minutes (screensaver set to never),

(No, not due to the damage on the screen that is the screen protector, and the last time I dropped it was month ago)

the screen now suffers from graphical glitches, the screen quality will degrade after time and major image persistence. (You can see examples from the images below)

I've tried:

- an IPS LCD video fix

- Putting a white picture on for the duration that I left discord on.

None of these worked, however leaving the screen off for at least 48 hours seems to have solved the horizontal/vertical lines from the first image.

But well, my screen seems to be still fairly low quality and image persistence still seems to happen pretty fast.

I'm just at a loss right now, this phone isn't under warranty anymore, but I expected this phone to last longer than 3 years...

I wonder if this is a loose display cable, maybe? I don't even know how that would have happened.

1 - The phone screen after trying to fix it with IPS LCD videos/white screen

(below is what it looks like after leaving it off for 48 hours)

2 - Examples of degraded quality and horizontal black lines

3 - My Iphone SE (2020) vs my mom's (same model)

4 - Image persistence after leaving my screen for about 30~ seconds, then displaying a full black image (also happens with normal usage)

Hi Roan_HY,

Although the last time your iPhone was dropped was a month ago, it may have sustained damage that is causing the issues you've described. The best way to find out is to get it inspected at an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider. This link will help you find one: Find Locations

If you'd prefer to reach out to Apple Support directly for guidance, they can be contacted here: Get Support or by calling the most applicable phone number from this list: Contact Apple for support and service.

Regards.
