iPhone 13 Mini – 3 Different Colors Appearing on Screen After iOS 26 Update
Hello Apple Community,
I have been using my iPhone 13 Mini for a couple of years now and have always kept it updated with the latest iOS versions as soon as they were released. Recently, after updating to iOS 26, everything seemed fine for the first few days, apart from a slight lag which I assumed was normal.
However, one morning, I was shocked to see three different colors appearing across the screen. Initially, the issue wasn’t constant sometimes it would disappear on its own, only to reappear after a few minutes. But now, the problem has become persistent and doesn’t go away at all.
I visited an Apple Store, and the staff mentioned it could be a software-related issue caused by the iOS 26 update. They suggested waiting for the next update (iOS 26.1) as it might fix the issue. After waiting and finally updating to iOS 26.1 the issue still persists.
I then contacted Apple Support again and revisited the store, where they now advised me to replace the screen at my own expense.
This is deeply disappointing. If a problem occurs right after an official software update, why should customers bear the cost of repairing something that appears to be triggered by that update?
We are a family of five all loyal Apple users for years but facing such an experience makes me question that loyalty. I genuinely regret that such a situation has come up, especially from a brand known for its quality and reliability.
I sincerely request the community and Apple Support to help me find a fair and reasonable solution to this issue.
Thank you.
