Secure Notes/iCloud Keychain disconnect(?) after disconnecting/reconnecting iPhone to AppleID and iCloud
So recently I noticed my iPhone SE (2020) appeared to be experiencing issues with AppleID/iCloud. This initially manifested as my Memoji not appearing in the App Store app and in my personal contact record. I decided to muscle it by disassociating my iPhone with my AppleID and logging out of iCloud. This of course meant no (iCloud) email, Calendar, Contacts, etc and to wrap this operation up I was required to disconnect from Find My iPhone. No worries right? I’ll just log back in, reenable everything I should be good to go…well not exactly.
Upon reconnecting via my AppleID, and reenabling iCloud services:
1) My Memoji was still MIA (I’ve since re-added it manually)
2) My Contacts seem incomplete, and it’s retrieving old info like long ago mobile numbers no longer belonging to me.
3) Most disturbing of all my secured Notes keep insisting that in order to unlock and view them on my iPhone I must first “Turn on iCloud Keychain” as I’m sure you’ve deduced, it’s already enabled. I’ve been able to work around this by accessing any secured Notes via my MacBook Air (an important reason to sync your Keychain in iCloud) however, if I remove the security from a Note on my Mac, my iPhone still thinks it’s locked. All other iCloud services (Mail, Backup, etc) appear to be working fine. Thoughts?
