Disable 'Now Playing' from lock screen

All of a sudden my phone [and subsequently my watch] are bringing up 'Now Playing' when I am watching a video and after my phone has been locked. I notice this happening when watching Videos on Twitter [X], Netflix, Disney+, etc. Is there a way to disable that feature? I can leave an app and it stays, not allowing me to see my watch complications and stuff until I physically hit the Digital Crown to take me back to my main layout.
