Hey NanaLLS11,

You can match the Apple ID you use with Messages to the one you use with iCloud by signing in with the same account in both locations.

Follow these steps to check, or sign in to iCloud:

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap Sign in to your [device].
On iPhone, sign in to your Apple ID in the Settings app
3. Enter your Apple ID and password.
4. If prompted, enter the six-digit verification code sent to your trusted device or phone number and complete sign in.

After you sign in here, check your Apple ID in Messages. You can do this by following these steps:

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap Messages.
  3. Enable iMessages, if it isn't already enabled.
  4. Tap Send & Receive.

If you are already signed in, you should see your Apple ID listed as a blue link at the very bottom of the page. This needs to be the same Apple account that is logged in to iCloud.

Kindest Regards.
