missing iCloud folder in Finder

Hi, I am just new to macOS and i have been looking for the icloud folder in finder sidebar. what should i do to reappear the folder? I attached the reference of what my problem. Anyone who can help me, please do! Thank you. <33

Lost icloud folder on Mac. By annoying misstake By misstake, I was going to create a iCloud folder shortcut, to my desktop. "by just drag and drop" Its now gone from finder. And not showing on the desktop.. The iCloud shareholder is there. Iphone has its iCloud and files. I suspect its needed to be set up in finder some how. Finder search docent show anything but the shared folder. And cant find any info on how to proceed. Ty in advance!

I'm confused about the location of my files - icloud or HD? I'm using a Macbook Pro 2019. My HD is full and I can't do the update. I also my a 2T icloud account. I'm trying to delete old files from my computer but some of the folders have a Cloud icon and down arrow underneath. I'm not sure if I am deleting files off my HD or from the icloud directory. This is very confusing. I hope someone in APPLE can make this clear.

Logging out from iCloud deleted all my local files I've just bought the 50Gb-plan of iCloud for my Mac. However, it was still showing that it was full when I was navigating Finder, even after a restart. Trying to fix this, I decided to log out and log in again to see if that would solve the problem... Well it did, but now all my local files are gone. I had reached the limit of free plan (5Gb) a very long time ago so I had a few files saved on iCloud and 90% of them stored locally with the "Saturated" mention underneath almost every folder. Everything was in '~/Documents' and '~/Desktop'. I logged out and logged back in with my computer and saw that everything is gone. Both previously mentioned folders are empty. Now, it keeps telling me that iCloud is downloading stuff, but what exactly? Does it download what it had saved in the 5Gb? Obviously the most important question is : where are my files???
