I can't change my AppleCare plan payment method

I subscribed to the Apple Care monthly plan, however, I had to change my credit card that was linked to make the monthly payment, and the apple system did not accept the change. I tried for several weeks, made several unsuccessful attempts. I ended up giving up and now I want to go back to this subject so I can keep the apple care of the 3 iphones I bought.

The option for ongoing periodical payments for an AppleCare plan will be billed through the payment method of your Apple ID account. How to change or update your Apple ID payment method - Apple Support.

You can do that on iPhone [which you just bought!] (or iPad or Mac), or on a Windows PC in the iTunes application (account management menu), or failing that: on the web at appleid.apple.com﹥Sign in﹥Payment Methods﹥… . The latter option doesn’t support multiple payment methods on the web, so that can be more of a hassle.

As periodical payments work as a subscription, first add the new payment method, before removing the former, so that there is never a moment without payment method.

If you need more assistance after trying the above, then see Subscriptions and Billing - Official Apple Support
