Using Trends on an iPhone Alone:

You Can't. What you are looking to perform is not an option, as of this reply. So, recommend to Apple that they make it one.

  1. Go Here: Track your Trends in the Fitness App - Apple Support
  2. Scroll to: If you don't see trends
  3. As it Reads: "If you don't see trends: It takes 180 days of activity to start your trends. If you don't see your trends, keep wearing your watch and closing your rings. When there's enough data, you'll get a notification that your trends are ready."

How to Recommend this to Apple:

Do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know what exactly is occurring.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what their customers prefer, and what features to include in updates to come. These are just user-to-user forums. Apple barely reads these forums as it is on their own time. They will know knowing of it, if you dont provide them with feedback.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - Apple Fitness Plus - Apple
  2. Select: "Workout" for "Feedback Type:"
  3. Select: "Device Usage and Compatibility" for "What feature is your feedback about?"
  4. Comment: that your want this to be an option and why. Include the URL of this thread.
  5. Proceed from there as necessary
