Why won't iTunes Store allow you to sample songs?

You can listen to short previews of any song in the iTunes Store by clicking on the track number in the song list inside an Album, or single song details page.

Make sure you are looking at songs in the iTunes Store section, and not inside the Browse or For You sections, as those are for the Apple Music subscription service.

Tried those tracks, and while the preview does not work on my Mac's Music app, it does work on my iPhone.

However other tracks work fine on the Mac which leads me to conclude it may be an issue with the preview for specific tracks only on a computer.

Its strange to say the least.

I'm having the exact same problem. Some songs will play but others will not. Here are a couple of examples of ones that won't play:

Children of the Sky by Imagine Dragons

Pull Me Through by Royal Blood

What albums is it not working you?

I am able to play a preview on all albums I have tried.

I know of no glitch that would prevent the preview.
