Possible nude photos sent and received in my child’s text messages

In setting up safety controls in Family Sharing, Apple will blurr out a possible questionable photo, then ask my child if he wants to view it. I do not want him to have that choice. I want the photo not just blurred, but also blocked. How can I do that?

Hey Protectmychild,

With this feature, the options available are blocking the contact, leaving a group message, leaving the conversation, and accessing online safety resources. You will only get the block contract option when the photo is blurred. For more information, click here: About communication safety in Message.

If you would like to submit feedback and/or suggestions to Apple, you may do so here: Product Feedback.

You can limit communication by selecting Contacts Only, Contacts & Groups with at Least One Contact, or Everyone. For more details about his along with other communication settings, review this article: Set up Screen Time for a family member on iPhone.

Take care.
