I can't make changes to the MacBook system settings

I can't make changes to the MacBook system settings. I enter privacy and protection . Further on for full access to the disk. Apple login appears and then the pin code appears. I enter the pin code and I do not have access.

What can I do ?

MacBook asking for PIN instead of Password I walked away from my MacBook for about 15 minutes. When I came back, the unlock screen asks for a pin. I never set up a pin, and I’ve never used a pin no matter how many times I enter an incorrect pin. Doesn’t have login pic with input bar after powered on Hey Everyone, I have an old, yet up-to-date MacBook Pro with High Sierra. After powering on, it no longer shows my profile picture and the input bar below it to enter my MacBook’s passcode. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
