Before I updated my Mac to venture my Mac was able to text everyone using iCloud and now if an android text me or I text a android it fails and/or it doest come through

my friend android messages aren't coming through on my Mac and I can text them on my Mac and im on the same Apple ID and restarted my laptop multiple times
