Change the “notification” email

I’ve changed the Apple ID successfully, I’ve added a second email successfully, but there is a box on my “sign in & security” page called ‘notification email’ and it won’t let me change it. It directs me to go to ‘settings’ on a ‘device’ but this email option is no where to be found.

please help as that email will be finished soon.

If your Apple ID is an @iCloud.com, a Notification email cannot be an iCloud alias email.

A Notification e-mail may also not be an e-mail address that you have ever used at Apple.

You can use an outlook, a provider or a gmail address and others.

I have an @outlook.com email address here as a notification email.
