I have an iPhone 14 I get a soft swish sound when I receive a txt, my setting is set for ding. All other notifications play sounds. Phone call, weather alerts, etc.
Have tried changing sounds, moving volume controls, muting and unmuting, turning airplane mode on and off as well as blue tooth. Tried everything I can think of, any suggestions?

Your text tone is not set to ding. It is set to tweet, which can be similar to the swoosh. If you want the Ding sound:
Sounds & Haptics
Tap Text Tone
Tap Classic
Then choose Ding (or whichever Text tone you want)
