Mac Ventura 13.5 not allowing dock rearrangement
I can't move dock icons. Regardless of how fast I click and move, or try to. I just got Ventura. All else is working OK.

hmmm....Have you shut down and restarted more than once since upgrading—highly recommended.
a personal machine or work machine managed by some Enterprise, MDM, etc...?
Are you logged in as admin on this computer...?
try SafeBoot Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support to sort anomalies.
You can try turn off force touch and haptic feedback in the >System Settings>Trackpad and compare your results.

It's a personal laptop. I am the only user. I have. restarted since getting on this OS. Will try quitting and restarting. I have read that the haptic touch thing doesn't work but will look for it and try. I'm not a true techie! Thanks. Will check back.
Actually, putting Word in the far left of the dock worked. I have Excel and Ppt in the far right end, closest to Trash. But I can't get Word over there, which is where I would normally look to click on it. I do not like Ventura. It is horrible. Thanks.
None of that worked. The haptic etc or restarting. I still can't move icons. Plus Word and Excel disappeared from dock after I logged in again. That is a different issue, however!
