Can't rearrange icons on my dock, running Mac OS Sonoma 14.0
Not sure if it's since updating OS, but I cannot move/rearrange icons on my Dock. Holding down Option or Command keys while clicking icons, just opens up app.

Trackpad yes. The arrow is the mouse.
Click and hold down. You have to be a bit faster maybe, same as removing an item off the Dock up and off— keep holding down on that "trackpad"
It is possible your trackpad settings are keeping you from being able to grab..(?)
>System Settings>Trackpad experiment a bit, make some changes.

No extra keys have ever been required to grab and move icons on the Dock.
The current stable release of Sonoma including bug fixes, security updates is macOS 14.1.2

Thank you. Really appreciate your patience and the help. For some reason the trackpad settings were all wrong. only one right was tap to click. I changed them as per your screenshot, worked!!!
