To be able to use any SIM across the globe you must have "No SIM Restriction" against Network Provider Lock. Please refer to the pic below.

Hello, I live in Turkey, I cannot use my line. IPHONE 54.0 has a SIM locked statement. I bought it from another person. Is it possible to unlock the SIM? I need your help.

I bought the phone second hand and I live in Turkey. Two other people bought and sold it before me. I do not know the first owner.

Only references to 54.0 available indicate Мегафон / Megafon, and spusu, and maybe a Chinese carrier.

Ask Apple Support. They might know. (If they do, let us know which it is.)

if this follows the usual pattern, the seller has probably disappeared so no carrier unlock and no refunds, and the carrier holding the lock (assuming you can identify the carrier) might or will not be interested in releasing the lock (either without payment, or at all).

Well, surely you know who you pay each month for your cellular service. Contact them and ask them to unlock the phone.

Depending on your original agreement with your carrier though......they may be under no obligation to unlock the phone.

You have purchased a paperweight. Only the carrier the phone is locked to can unlock the phone.

Sometimes, Apple can tell you which carrier a phone is locked to. However, apple cannot unlock phones.
