cursor issues

just got a new iphone 13 from verizon and im not sure if this issue is normal or not. when i search something on safari and i type that text again to erase it or type more the cursor will sometimes jump to the front of the text instead of the back of it like normal.

running ios 16.6 btw

Make moving cursor on iPhone easy again I know this has been discussed awhile ago but still no fix. It’s become easier to just delete everything in your search bar and retype everything to just edit one word. When I select on a specific point in the search bar to move cursor it may highlight the word or keep going in the wrong spot. And if I need to move the cursor at the beginning it deletes everything. It’s like I have enormous fingers. This mostly happens in safari or google search bars.

iPhone usability issues My and my wife’s I -Phone 10 MAX OS Updates make our phones less operable with each update. Our virtual keyboards are very unfriendly. Cursor does not stay where you set it. When we backspace to delete a mistyped letter, the cursor jumps up one or two lines and erases a letter in another word (s) screwing up text elsewhere. Cannot insert cursor in pre-typed words in Safari queries. Cursor gos to end of last word and letter typed. If can’t fix problems on phone, going back to Samsung Galaxy Note. Cursor on iPads only moves left in Pages Hello, This is quite a strange dilemma. I just purchased a new 11 inch iPad Pro after using a 9.7 inch iPad Pro for about 4 years. On my old iPad with a Logic case keyboard recently in Pages the right cursor will only go left when it should go right. If I use the option key it will move one word to the right as expected. Now I set up my new iPad using a backup from the 9.7 and the problem is on both now. It works fine in all other apps. It’s only pages that this happens in. I’m wondering if I have mistakenly hit some setting. I can’t seem to find anything though. Any thoughts would be appreciated. By the way, I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling but the problem is still there.
