How to get numeric keypad for Clock functions on iPhone

There used to be a way to bring up a numeric keypad and tap/type in the time instead of using the odometer wheels. The wheels are a pain. They are clumsy and inefficient. It takes much longer to set them to the deisred time or interval. It is much easier to punch in a few numbers. But I can't do that now. Is there a secret way to do this? A secret button? A secret setting?

iOS 15.7.8

TIA!

Hi betaneptune,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today.

This is a feature of the Alarm tab of the Clock app. Just choose an alarm to edit or select the + in the upper right hand corner to create a new alarm. Then tap once on time shown on the dial. This should bring up the number pad.

Have a fantastic day!
