Could someone recommend a suitable power bank for the above.

The battery capacity will determine how useful a PowerBank might be. The greater the capacity, the more times that you'll be able to recharge the iPad. With greater capacity comes higher cost and weight to carry.
Small PowerBanks, principally intended to recharge a mobile phone, are generally unsuitable for iPads.
For recharging an iPad, you should consider a PowerBank with a battery capacity of at least 10,000mAh - with some reaching ~26,000 mAh, allowing multiple recharges of an iPad before the PowerBank itself will fully deplete its battery.
NB: Portable PowerBanks are generally limited to ~26,000 mAh as this is the largest Li-ion battery that can be [legally] carried by a passenger on a commercial airline.
Whichever PowerBank that you choose will require an appropriate charging cable for your iPad. For maximum flexibility, a PowerBank with a USB-C connection will simply require your existing USB-C to Lightning cable.
Mophie are one of the popular sources of good quality PowerBanks - some of which are marketed by Apple. For greatest choice, take a look at the Mophie website.
It's the connectors and ports that are my worry. I apparently need a USB C PD port, therefore would I be correct in thinking a modern Anker (example) would come with one. I have a Poweradd for my SE 2 phone and 9th gen iPad but it has no suitable connection for the 10th gen.
they should all work if the connector fits, how many ampere hours depend on how much the bank can charge the device before it itself runs out of juice
