Ransomware RAT via text?

I have been hit with a Ransomware RAT threat. Checked my mail and such but just received a threat via text with a picture of the creep. Any suggestions would be great.

RAT malware I received a email stating that a Trojan R.A.T. Malware had been installed on my device (iPhone, or iPad) and that they were recording me using my own phone and microphone. They say i have 48 hours to pay ransom, bitcoin, or information will be given to my friends via social media or email. The email came from my own email. My question is can these devices get malware being that the iOS systems are supposed to be secured? How can I go and look for this malware and clear it out?

Detect and remove Pegasus spyware on an iPhone 11 and latest I have received an email on 28 Jan 2025 from saying they have hacked me, mentioned going to send pictures or videos of my family onto to the web for everyone asked me to $$$ to Litecoin within 48 hours. Do anyone have receive same email, how to detect and remove Pegasus spam?

Does Apple ever contact you online to say you have a virus on your iPhone? Does Apple Security ever contact you online to say you have a virus invading your iPhone and a specific percent of your data has been destroyed? And, that you can get rid of the virus by clicking on some link? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
