Why is my email Invalid

I have seen most of the responses to this question but none apply to me. I am not trying to create nor change my apple id. I just want my gmail that works in the app and anywhere else to be added to my iphone (under Name, Phone Numbers, Email tab in settings). My gmail is not my apple ID either, can somebody help me?

I keep getting the message that my email account is incorrect. I can use it on a desk top and it works. My husbands email works. Where do i go from here? Email on iPhone I use Yahoo for email and accessed it through my iPhone mail app. I had to change my password for the account and did so through the Yahoo website on my iMac. Now i no longer receive email on my phone. When I try to check my emil's on my iPhone, it tells me there is an error. I go to Settings>Mail>Accounts and the accounts are grayed out and I cannot tap on it in order to change the password. Any idea on how to fix? Thanks!

GMail error It seems that Gmail thinks I have 2 accounts - one with my first name, last name @gmail and then one with my first name, period, last name @gmail. My iPhone 12 keeps trying to sync my email address and when I remove the period, it keeps putting it back in and then says everything doesn’t match. This only started about 6 months ago but it’s very annoying as I constantly get an alert that my password isn’t syncing but I have not had an issue getting my emails using the address without the period.

After your name , phone number and Email id will be under a single tag which is ‘CONTACTABLE AT’.corresponding to that there will be a edit option.Just click on that and you will get a option to add ur gmail id and mobile numbers of needed.
